In addition to the work done with our International initiatives, the Omega Lambda Omega Chapter continues to work within North Raleigh and Franklin County to serve the needs of the community with local programs that include:
Note in the Pocket: Provide clothing to impoverished and homeless children in Wake County; organize and sort donated clothes.
First Fruits Farm: Sharing the love of Christ and aid in hunger relief in eastern North Carolina. (First Fruits Farm).
Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina: Sort and repackage bulk food items for distribution.
- Backpack Buddies: Provide weekend meal packs to Franklinton Elementary School students receiving free or reduced-price school meals.
- Walk to End Lupus Now: Sponsored by Lupus Foundation of America; Devoted to solving the mystery of Lupus.
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk: Walks to raise funds and awareness to support MS research.

- Great Harvest Festival - Harvest more that 200,00 pounds of sweet potatoes at all to be donated to local food banks, churches and those in need.
- Fishing Derby for Military Veterans & Youth - To promote the joy of fishing to area youth and to honor the Veterans of the Louisburg community (In memory of Army Specialist Lunsford Bernard Brown II).
